Basically, last week I sent this email to Nestle:
"Hello.
My name's Jocy and I'm 17 years old. I've been a massive fan of your "Curiously Cinnamon" cereal ever since it was called Cinnamon Toast Crunch when I was very young. I remember when it was changed to Cinnamon Grahams, and I was a tad disappointed because I missed the old box because it was lovely and colourful. But I coped. However, this change to "Curiously Cinnamon" has absolutely baffled me. The box states, "Sweet but tangy. Sumptuous yet light. Crunchy yet mouth meltingly tasty.
The indescribable taste of toasted cinnamon squares." However, it is clearly not an indescribable taste. It has been described. With adjectives. So I am confused as to why you say that it is indescribable. Additionally, the "Curiously" part does not make sense either, because in the ingredients there is Cinnamon and Cinnamon Flavour. As a result of this, it's not very curious that they taste of cinnamon, because the ingredients denote that you had the intent of making them taste like that. Don't get me wrong, I think Curiously Cinnamon is the best cereal out there. I just wondered if you could enlighten me on the lexis choice on the cereal box. Thank you for your time!"
I sent it in kind of a jokey but I was serious about what I was saying. The LAST thing I was expecting was this letter in the post this morning...
